Judging by his frequent appearances on Sole Collector’s Celebrity Sneaker Watch, it’s pretty safe to say the Air Jordan VI is by far one of Kanye West’s all time favorite Jordans. Joining forces with Nike back in 2009, Kanye West and Nike released the Air Yeezy becoming Kanye’s debut signature shoe with the Swoosh.

One of several samples done up along the design proccess, Kanye’s right-hand man “Don-C” recently shared original images captured by SC of the Air Yeezy silhouette sitting atop the Air Jordan VI tooling. 

Said to be the only pair in existence and originally never shown to Kanye, the rare sample pictured in the photos was auctioned off back in 2009 as part of the Sole Collector Yeezy for Doernbecher charity auction series.
