Jordan CP3 VI - White/Sport Red-Black-Game Royal

Jordan CP3 VI - White/Sport Red-Black-Game Royal

Jordan CP3.VI White Sport Red Black Game Royal 535807-103 (1)

words // Brandon Richard

Happy with the success of the CP3 signature line since Chris Paul’s arrival in Los Angeles, the Jordan Brand moved up production on the CP3.VI for the first ever fall launch of the series. With that, we’ve gotten plenty of early looks at the run of colorways for Paul’s sixth sig, the latest being this make-up inspired by his Clippers.

The shoe features a white and royal Hyperfuse upper with black patent trim toward the heel. Black also works the shoe’s inner lining, heel pull-tab and midsole, while Clipper-flavored red and royal hits appear on the tongue, branding and outsole.

No official drop date for this colorway at the moment, but we’ll be sure you update you when that information becomes available.

Air Jordan 4 “Wheaties” by emmanueLabor

Air Jordan 4 “Wheaties” by emmanueLabor

Air Jordan IV 4 Wheaties by emmanueLabor (2)

words // Brandon Richard

Always looking to push the boundaries of creativity with his projects, emmanueLabor brings to the table (literally) a new custom Air Jordan 4 inspired by the “Breakfast of Champions.”

The first drop from Emmanuel’s “Endorsement Pack” is the Air Jordan 4 “Wheaties,” saluting the partnership first established in 1988. Similarity in blue hues made the “Military Blue” colorway an easy selection for the base shoe. The uppers, including newly added mesh tongues, were done in orange to mimic the color of the famous box. Heel tabs with stitched lettering spell out “Wheaties” across the heels. Yellow highlights were added to represent variously lines of text from the box, particularly “Breakfast of Champions.”

Emmanuel didn’t stop with simple alternate color selections. A fan of implementing unique materials into his projects, he added real Wheaties to clear pockets along the side panels and replaced the usual tongue branding with an artificial milk-like substance.

Check out several photos of this creative custom below. You can stay up to date on new projects by following @emmanuelabor on Twitter and laborpanes.tumblr.com.
